Free Boston Market Kids' Meals Through 10/31

Today and tomorrow, October 31st, kids eat free at Boston Market with an adult meal purchase. Actually, two kids can receive a free kids' meal with each adult meal valued at $6 or more that is purchased.

Not a bad deal given that each kids' meals costs between $3.79 and $4.29 and consists of chicken, turkey, meatloaf or mac & cheese with a drink, side dish, and cornbread.

Black Friday Savings at Target

An October 13, 2009 article about gift cards in the Wall Street Journal mentioned that "Target Corp. will hand out cards worth $10 to shoppers who spend at least $100 before noon the day after Thanksgiving."

So as you start to plan your holiday shopping, keep in mind the free $10 gift card opportunity at Target on Friday, November 27th before 12:00 pm.

Baby Einstein DVD Refund Now Available

If you are one of the thousands, if not millions, of parents who purchased a Baby Einstein DVD between June 5, 2004 and September 4, 2009 in the name of education, you can now get a full refund for your purchase. Apparently those claims that watching Baby Einstein DVDs can be beneficial for young children was never substantiated, says the FTC, so Disney is offering a full refund or exchange.
